European Day of Languages

I visited Park School this morning for the presentation of an excellence award for international education. As always I was impressed by their enthusiasm. Entertainment for the presentation was some Spanish conversation, a Japanese story and a French song. For the rest of the day activities were going on in classrooms, for example flamenco dancing!

In the afternoon I visited Sorn Primary whose p6/7 took part in a video link up. They performed a French song and acted out a story "une surprise pour Lilo". The audience was other primary schools throughout the UK and a school in France who asked questions.
