Multicultural Day
Today is multicultural day and 2 of our secondaries have organised activities to celebrate.
Grange Academy has a day of rolling workshop activities for all S1 pupils while James Hamilton Academy has workshops for all S3 pupils.
Grange has been doing Australian art, henna tattoos, internationalism, deaf culture, Tai Chi, Islamaphobia, Scottish Gaelic culture, eco cultures.
James Hamilton has Chinese culture and writing, making Chinese lanterns, world food tasting, world dancing, building an Eiffel tower and a European Quiz.
What a lot of brilliant ideas and cross curricular working with fantastic results and fun for all concerned.
